cFive Announces 2018 #Catalyst4Change Award Winner

Outstanding Innovation in Community Supervision Recognized

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. – July 30, 2018 – cFive Solutions, Inc. announced today Stacy Ledvina as the winner of the 2018 #Catalyst4Change Award. As a member of the Manitowoc County Human Services Department (Wisconsin), Ledvina recognized the “Kids at Hope” program as a catalyst for significant change within the county’s juvenile services department and quickly became its champion. She recognized that the program’s empowering philosophy – All Youth are Capable of Success, No Exceptions! – would provide a strong foundation to help forge a new path for the County’s youth services. Ledvina secured county support, worked to develop funding and managed the county-wide launch.

Since the launch of the program the County has positively impacted thousands of youth. Results include a substantial reduction in juvenile court referrals and a 72-percent reduction in the bookings to the secure detention facility.

“Community supervision professionals are meeting the challenges of a quickly changing world by finding fresh, innovative ways to empower clients and improve outcomes,” said Jeremy Burr, cFive CEO. “The program at Manitowoc, as well as those of the two other #Catalyst4Change Finalists, illustrates how one person’s vision and dedication can truly impact countless lives. It’s a testament to the dynamic individuals that are leading the way in community supervision today.”

Ledvina was selected from a group of three Finalists who exemplified #Catalyst4Change as champions of innovative community supervision programs across the nation. Nominations were received for dynamic individuals from multiple agencies in Arizona, Wisconsin, Texas, California, Nevada, Georgia, and Illinois.
The #Catalyst4Change winner was selected through an online voting platform, with votes cast by members of the community supervision community.

In its second year, #Catalyst4Change is cFive’s corporate initiative to give back to the industry by creating a platform to recognize dynamic individuals in community supervision, share insight on what works, and build awareness and support in the community and beyond.

Nominations for the next #Catalyst4Change award start in January 2019. Details on the 2018 and 2017 award winners and finalists are available on the cFive website: www.cfive.com/catalyst4change .
