cFive Announces 2018 #Catalyst4Change Awards

Recognizing Change Makers in Community Supervision

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. – March 1, 2018 – Following a successful 2017 launch, cFive Solutions, Inc. announced today the 2018 #Catalyst4Change award program. #Catalyst4Change is an initiative to recognize and celebrate individuals who have championed innovative community supervision programs that empower clients and create positive change.

By shining the spotlight on the change makers in community supervision, cFive hopes #Catalyst4Change will recognize individuals who work tirelessly to positively impact the lives of their clients and community. cFive believes these dynamic individuals are vital to client rehabilitation and lowering the recidivism rate, and exemplify #Catalyst4Change.

The #Catalyst4Change program has three primary goals:

• Celebrate Success. Recognize individuals within the industry that have made a difference.
• Share Ideas. Provide insight into programs that reduce recidivism, improve lives, and keep communities safe.
• Create Awareness. Build awareness and support among others in community supervision, and within the individual’s community, including legislators, policy makers and stakeholders.

Award Criteria
Nominations will be accepted for individuals who have developed successful initiatives in community supervision that foster change for clients, agencies and communities. Submissions will be evaluated based on program innovation and measurable achievements. Examples of innovative initiatives may include use of evidence-based practices to achieve program improvement, improved client outcomes, or development of client behavior change.

Selection Process
An important tenant of #Catalyst4Change is to include the community supervision industry throughout the selection process. Nominations will be accepted for individuals serving within community supervision. Finalists will be determined by a panel of industry leaders, and the final award recipients will be peer-driven, selected using an online voting platform.

Change Makers Wanted
Community supervision professionals are encouraged to nominate themselves, team members within their agency, agency partners, or other individuals making a difference in community supervision. Nominations will be accepted online through April 17, 2018 at www.cfive.com/catalyst4change.

Winner Selection
An online voting platform will open May 1 – June 15. The winner will be announced at the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) Annual Institute in July.

The award package includes paid registration and airfare support to APPA’s 2018 Annual Training Institute in July 2018.
