cFive Solutions, Inc. Opens Voting for #Catalyst4Change Awards

Company Encourages Voting by Peers in Community Supervision Agencies

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. – November 15, 2017 – After receiving an outstanding response to its call for nominations for its #Catalyst4Change awards program, cFive Solutions, Inc. announced today the voting period for members of the supervision (probation and parole) community is open for public vote. The company encourages individuals to review and vote on the most innovative people and programs in community supervision. Winners receive an award as well as paid travel and admission to an upcoming American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) training event of their choice.

#Catalyst4Change is cFive’s corporate initiative created to give back to the industry by creating a platform to recognize dynamic individuals in community supervision, share insight on what works, and build awareness and support in the community and beyond.

Nominations were received for dynamic individuals from multiple agencies in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Texas, and Vermont.

Submissions have been reviewed by a panel of industry leaders who have selected five Finalists:

  • David Cervantes, Las Vegas Municipal Court (Nevada)
  • Jay Holmes, Sedgwick County, Division of Corrections (Kansas)
  • Veronica Perry, Medina County Court of Common Pleas Adult Probation Department (Ohio)
  • Erin Rodriguez, Fifth Judicial District Community Corrections (Kansas)
  • Herb Sinkinson, Burlington Probation & Parole, Vermont Department of Corrections (Vermont)

The #Catalyst4Change winner will be selected through votes from the community supervision community.

The Finalists’ stories and the #Catalyst4Change voting platform are available on the cFive website (www.cfive.com/catalyst4change).  Voting closes December 15. Winners will be announced in January 2018 at the APPA Winter Training Institute in Houston.
