Sales Development Representative

cFive Solutions, Inc. has an immediate opening for a self-motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) who can make an impact on growing the cFive Catalyst communication and engagement software business. Focused on the state and local government community supervision agencies, you’ll be generating qualified leads for our sales team. Becoming a Sales Development Representative can be the first step to a rewarding and lucrative career in software sales.

Sales Development Representatives are primarily focused on sales prospecting. It is the Sales Development Representative’s responsibility to actively seek qualified new business opportunities, engage and build relationships with potential customers. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every potential customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Responsibilities – What You Will Do:

  • Qualify leads as sales opportunities from marketing campaigns
    • Use email drip campaigns to engage and connect with new prospects
    • Maintain high call volumes (min. 60+ phone calls per day)
  • Email and call prospects to interest them in cFive products
    • Successfully handle and overcome prospect objections
    • Ask smart, targeted questions to knowledgeably engage with prospects
    • Understand and articulate how cFive’s key differentiators align to the business pains of specific sectors and personas
    • Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services
    • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
    • Set demos for qualified prospects
  • Discover new leads through internet research
  • Research and collect contacts for target accounts
  • Manage prospects and opportunities in CRM
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Leverage lead generation tools to routinely build accurate targeted lists of prospects
  • Provide insight and input into marketing campaigns

Required Qualification & Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Business to Government or Business to Business experience and/or SaaS software experience is preferred
  • One to two years of prospecting experience identifying and calling into decision makers
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing and outreach
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable cold calling on a regular basis to establish relationships with prospects
  • Track record of identifying and meeting goals, and achieving sales quotas
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and other sales and research tools. Sales training and CRM experience a plus
  • College degree or equivalent experience desirable
